Director of Technology Services will educate “Grampions” on latest technology and security trends.

Winter Springs, Fla., October 23, 2020 – Matt Rose is ready to teach your grandmother about technology so you don’t have to.

Rose, Tech Rage IT’s director of technology services, is partnering with the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation’s Florida Chapters for a new Tech Talk series dedicated for CF Foundation grandparents or “Grampions.”

The first virtual session will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

The series will cover a variety of topics to help bridge the technology gap that Grampions might be facing when it comes to security, staying connected, and independence.

“Senior citizens are one of the most vulnerable groups of Internet users prone to cyberattacks,” says Matt Rose “With family members falling into this category, I want to bring awareness and training to seniors and help reduce their risks.

Rose has a personal connection to the CF Foundation after the passing of his best friend, Lance Nadolne. Nadolne received a lung transplant, but unfortunately came down with an infection, which led to multiple complications. To help find a cure so others don’t endure the same pain of losing a loved one to CF, Rose has committed to raising money as part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations’ Rising Stars fundraising campaign.

To make a donation, and to learn more about Nadolne and Rose, please visit the Cystic Fibrosis’ fundraising page. Or, to learn how to become a CF Foundation Grampion, visit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation page.
