Winter Springs, Fla., (April 19, 2024) – Tech Rage is on fire!.
The Winter Springs-based IT company was named one of 11 companies in Central Florida as being “on fire” in the Orlando Business Journal’s third annual 2024 Fire Awards.
According to the award announcement, “each company was scored on major milestones such as revenue growth, job creation, fundraising and innovative new products or ways of doing business, among other factors.”
The company saw a nearly 15 percent increase in revenue over the past 12 months.
“We’re honored to be recognized for our accomplishments over the past year as many of the efforts we’ve taken to prepare our company for growth has truly taken off this year,’ says Erica Martinez-Rose, CEO, Tech Rage IT. “We believe this is just the beginning too as we are on pace to grow by more than 20 percent this year as well.”
Martinez-Rose attributes much of their growth to automation, especially in the realm of employment. The company looked for ways to reduce the time spent onboarding new employees for their clients and was able to drop the time to bring on new employees by 66 percent. It also helped with employee retention. The company had no employees leave in 2023 and Tech Rage IT added three new employees, bringing total staff to 12.
Other aspects attributing to the company’s growth include:
- A strategic rebranding initiative in 2019.
- Consistent price adjustments and a commitment to delivering value to clients.
- Diversifying our services and expanding its offerings.
- Maintaining minimal client turnover.
- Adoption of innovative technologies has optimized efficiencies, streamlined processes, effectively allocated resources and controlled costs.
